New Population Game in the works
« on: 27 Aug 2009 12:56:02 AM »
Here at resplace.net we are working on a new game, a remake of a game I once made a very long time ago! It's called "Population" and it's loosly based on Sim City but with totally different perspective on gameplay, instead of keeping good income and building various buildings it revolves around the population size instead, the aim of the game is to create an optimum population that is happy.

The game will feature 2 modes (current goals), the first is "free play" which like Sim City you create a city with no goals or limits apart from the cash you have currently, and the second mode "Missionary" where you complete set goals to advance up levels and unlock more buildings etc.

Were hoping to release demos and alpha-demos of this game at a later date (hopefully this year) but until then we will keep you informed on development in this topic!

Your suggestions/comments/contributions welcome!
Yes please leave us some comments, and possibly some suggestions, and if your really feeling generous we need help with graphics and possibly sounds too!

First Development Milestone: Isometric Control
We have managed to get an isometric engine working, and so far working good, heres a screen shot.
